Welcome to Kateryna Pryor, Actuary

We are excited to welcome Kateryna Pryor, ASA, MAAA, to our Retiree Health team at Rael & Letson. With nearly a decade of actuarial experience, Kateryna has worked with hundreds of California public agencies on retiree health issues, including compliance with GASB Statements 74/75. She is also a recognized expert in GASB Statement 68 reporting for CalPERS cost-sharing plans, a critical public sector reporting requirement.

Kateryna brings a wealth of knowledge in actuarial consulting and financial reporting, helping public agencies navigate complex compliance challenges. At Rael & Letson, she will continue to assist clients with GASB compliance while expanding our services to support additional public sector reporting needs. She also specializes in postretirement welfare valuations under FASB ASC 965 for multiemployer trust funds, further strengthening our capabilities in actuarial analysis.

Kateryna holds an M.S. in Social Informatics from Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, where she specialized in Statistics in Insurance and Banking. Her deep understanding of actuarial modeling and financial risk analysis allows her to provide clients with data-driven insights and strategic guidance.
