Jim Whelpley to speak on public plan OPEB

Jim Whelpley will be co-presenting at a session titled “Update on Public Plan OPEB” at the virtual Enrolled Actuaries meeting sponsored by the Conference of Consulting Actuaries on May 9, 2025.

Other Postemployment Benefits (OPEB) are prevalent in the public sector. Speakers will discuss a variety of topics related to public sector OPEB plans, including OPEB funding strategies, funding vehicles, plan design, and valuation issues.
